MakBoh Tech LLC (“MakBoh Tech,” “we,” “us”) is a residential fiber installation subcontractor registered in Pennsylvania and working in Michigan. This policy covers makbohtech.com and the information you share with us when you apply for work or contact us.
Information we collect
- When you apply or contact us. Whether you reach us by email, phone, text, or a Facebook or Instagram lead form, we collect what you share: your name, phone number, email address, city, and your answers about your vehicle, driver’s license, experience, English, and availability.
- If you move forward. We collect what we need to set you up as a 1099 subcontractor, such as your W-9 details (SSN or EIN), insurance certificate, and payment information.
- Business contacts. If you contact us about work for your company, we keep your contact details and our correspondence.
This website
This site does not use cookies, analytics, or ad trackers, and it has no forms. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.
How we use your information
- To review your application and contact you about it
- To onboard you, including the background check, drug screen, and badging
- To pay you and keep the records tax law requires
- To answer business inquiries
We don’t use your information for anything unrelated to working with us.
Calls and text messages
If you apply, our recruiter may call or text you about your application. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from us.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- with providers that run background checks and drug screens, with your consent
- with the internet providers and prime contractors we work for, when they need it for onboarding, badging, or site access
- with our payroll, insurance, and accounting providers when needed to pay you or keep records
- when the law requires it
How long we keep it
We keep applicant information while we review your application and for a reasonable time after, so we can reach out about future openings unless you ask us not to. We keep contractor records for as long as tax and business laws require.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you. Email contact@makbohtech.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records the law requires.
Children
Our work is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
